Billionaire Jeff Bezos's act of pouring money into an anti-aging biotechnology startup draws scorn from Elon Musk

As if he didn't want to be rivaled, the actions of world billionaire Jeff Bezos who were allegedly pouring money for a biotechnology startup that developed an anti-aging named Alto Labs got ridicule from other world billionaire Elon Musk.

Alto Labs is a company that was born in the US and UK in early 2021 and has already raised $270 million to see the potential of cell reprogramming technology to delay aging in animals, and possibly humans too. And if it doesn't work, he will demand death!" chided Elon Musk in his signature scathing tweet.

Reporting from Futurism in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/9/21) the dispute between the two richest people in the world has been heating up for months. However, this is the first time Elen Musk has mocked Jeff Bezos for actions unrelated to space exploration.

As is well known, Jeff Bezos is trying to curry favor with NASA into accepting Blue Origin for a grounding project on Mars.

However, SpaceX emerged as the sole winner so Bezos was very disappointed. Last month, Blue Origin decided to sue NASA for the decision. As a result, NASA suspended the entire program.

"Turns out Besos retired to pursue a full-time job filing a lawsuit against SpaceX," Musk sneered late last month over Amazon filing a lawsuit to slow down SpaceX's plans to expand its Starlink constellation.

Musk even had SpaceX smash (Bezos) in the head with a space laser last week.

"He should consider spending some money on actual lunar lander hardware, rather than a fraudulent lobbyist," suggested Elon Musk in a separate tweet.

And now, it seems, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos' bickering has gone beyond the topic of space exploration. Elon Musk seems to be getting more and more furious at all of Jeff Bezos' actions.

For your information, apart from Jeff Bezos, Alto Labs also received funding from Russian billionaire Yuri Milner. To note, Milner is the Co-Founder and former Chairman of internet company Mail.Ru Group and founder of investment firm DST Global.

Altos Labs revealed that the 2012 Nobel Prize winner Dr. Shinya Yamanaka was a pioneer in reprogramming the cell.

Reporting from the SWF Institute in Jakarta, Monday (6/9/21) other people involved in the company include a Spanish biologist who works at the Salk Institute in California, Dr. Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte. Altos Labs is led by CEO Richard Klausner, former head of the National Cancer Institute. Klausner previously helped the company Juno Therapeutics and cancer testing company Grail, citing economic news.
